One of the great appointments we have on Sundays is a sermon debriefing coffee!  Today we had 10 people from two churches together at Vida E Cafe in Cavendish - raucous conversation and some interesting reflection on the mornings' sermons. Also some discovering of what people actually do when not at church

As Roger, one of our friends and a leader at Claremont Methodist says, it's difficult to find places where people feel at ease.  This is one of them.

 

We are not entirely sure how this particular meeting evolved.  But it gives us a great deal of pleasure... and of course the coffee is very good too.  And it is a bonus that this is an effective way of being church people out doing church in amongst outsiders.
